| Rothiemurchus receives accolades such
as Natura 2000, Ramsar Lochs, and National Scenic Area and of course
we lie at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. The Rothiemurchus
Concordat is unique in Scotland.
We focus on achieving awards which directly benefit both the business
and the staff, such as business development, training and quality
assurance. We do not enter competitive award competitions because
we are involved in such hugely diverse areas area of work and business,
where team working is of paramount importance: award competitions
do not involve everyone so they could have the effect of prioritising
some areas and diminishing the role of others for our visitors,
staff, our partner businesses and the public agencies. We would
also have to employ some one to write entries!
Last year we were delighted to be invited to a dinner in Stirling
Castle to celebrate the achievement of 10 years of the Investors
in People
We have achieved: VisitScotland 4* Visitor Attraction, Scottish
Quality Beef, Scottish Quality Cereals, Quality Trout UK quality
assurance awards.
