| Rothiemurchus Fishery is situated on the south
bank of the River Spey, 60 miles upstream from the mouth of the
river at Kingston. The Spey offers some tremendous Brown and Sea
Trout fishing in late spring to early summer, and there is also
a chance of catching Salmon. Rothiemurchus has two beats totalling
4 miles, both within walking distance of the Fishery:
Upper Beat
Some excellent pools with good water access and wading areas; it
offers a nice clean cast and plenty of Spey/ Roll casting situations.

Lower Beat
Fewer wading opportunities than the upper beat, so bait fishing
and spinning are permitted; has offered some tremendous Sea Trout
in recent years, with night fishing extremely popular.
