Our elegant Victorian Shooting Lodge lies in a
breathtaking private setting above its own picturesque loch, in the
foothills of the Cairngorms. With a backdrop of majestic mountains,
amidst the renowned ancient natural pinewoods this is the ideal location
for corporate
events, teambuilding
activities, executive
meetings, parties,
fine
dining or just a place to relax.
Drumintoul
Lodge was built in 1877 and during the Second World War was
used by Kompani
Linge as a training base for their commando raids into Norway.
The King of Norway often stayed in the lodge during his frequent
visits to his troops.
The peaceful, relaxed ambience created by the light, interlinking
reception rooms, roaring fires and comfortable sofas provide an
intimate retreat where you can work, rest and play. We can tailor
the 3 main reception rooms to your needs should you wish to use
it for an exclusive
dinner for up to 50 people, hold a board
meeting, a teambuilding
lunch, or just relax on the sofas in front of the fire. The
Lodge has WIFI throughout and we can provide a projector and screen
to cater for any meeting.
The rugged beauty of the surrounding hills, glens and heather moorland,
coupled with the wide range of fun, challenging activities
supervised by professional staff and the traditional atmosphere
of a genuine Shooting Lodge make Rothiemurchus an unrivalled venue
for any occasion.
This will be a truly memorable experience.
