Rothiemurchus is an ideal location for the study of the natural environment whether you are still at school or completing a University degree. The Estate extends over some 10,000 hectares and its landscape and habitats are of National and International importance, with a large area of the estate inside the Cairngorms National Nature Reserve and within the Cairngorms National Park.

Our team of friendly and experienced Rangers will lead your group and ensure that they get the most out of their visit. There is ample opportunity for discussion and question/answer sessions with the Rangers. Participation by students is actively encouraged and considered an essential part of the visit.
